Relationships and Sex Education
RSE Curriculum Vision
The Relationships, Sex Education and Health Education curriculum focuses on healthy relationships and keeping children safe in the modern world. It also covers a wide range of topics relating to physical and mental health, well-being and safeguarding. Learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up will give young people the information, skills and positive values to have safe, fulfilling relationships. It will help students take responsibility for their own well-being as well as knowing where and how to ask for help if needed.
As directed by the Diocese, we subscribe to a fully-resourced scheme of work in Relationships and Sex Education for Catholic secondary schools called TEN:TEN “Life to the full” and deliver information on all topics that are in the statutory RSE guidance.
