Bad Weather
During the winter months there may be occasions when there is poor weather overnight/forecast for the morning. If there is a need to change the normal school opening time, parents/carers will be contacted via the Class Charts app (the quickest way of getting information). Information will also be on the website. Students will be emailed.
For a one day closure, work will be set for students via Class Charts. For a second consecutive day of closure, teaching staff will aim to have lessons on Teams for Years 10-Y13; Class Charts will be used for Years 7-9.
If a decision to close school is taken part way through the school day, then parents/carers will be contacted via the Class Charts app informing them of the early closure.
Telephoning school may not get a swift response as staff may not be able to answer calls/listen to answer machine messages.
We ask that students attend school the following day unless you have received further information through the Class Charts app or our website.
