Thirteen primary schools assembled at All Saints Catholic High School to participate in the under 11's annual Catholic Cup Football Tournament on Wednesday 17 June 2015

During the group stages of the event parents, family spectators and primary teachers witnessed some outstanding football played with fantastic spirit and sportsmanship.

St Wilfrid's and St Thomas of Canterbury both overcame their opponents to play in the final. There was some excellent teamwork and skill displayed and great goals scored.

To finish a wonderful tournament St Wilfrid's were victorious with a 2-1 win.

All players really enjoyed the day and competed at a very high standard. Medals and winners' cup were awarded by Tony Currie a former Sheffield United and England player.

Over 40 students took part in the Summer musical showcase. Acts performing included the All Saints brass group, string group, band and key stage 3 singers

There were solo instrumental performances from Kathryn Bell, Elliot Pacey-Carrier and a blues piano duet from Connie Campbell and Vivian Toe. Vocalists included Connie Campbell, Nicole Muzvidzwa, Eleanor Slater and Emily Harrison. There were also performances from two rock bands, a year 9 band featuring Caleb French, Declan Rhodes and Joseph Musngi who played an Artic Monkeys track and a Y11 band with special guest performers Mr Trotter and Mr Low who performed Boulevard of Broken Dreams. The evening was a huge success and a testament to the talented musicians we have here at All Saints.
