Year 7 students at All Saints have made a successful start to the new school year. Below are some of the highlights from how they have found their first few weeks at secondary school.
"I have enjoyed doing DT so far because it is something new that I didn't do at primary school"
"I've really enjoyed getting to know new people in my classes and it's been so easy to make new friends with people I have never met before"
"What I like is that my form group has lots of people from different year groups because that has helped me to get to know the school better"
"I enjoy doing PE because I like keeping fit and I really like the fitness topic that we are doing at the minute"
The new Year 12 students at All Saints spent two days at Thornbridge outdoor activity centre for a residential experience aimed at getting to know each other.
The students took part in team building activities; learning new skills, and challenging themselves to try something different.
They also had the opportunity to take part in abseiling, caving, high ropes courses, orienteering as well as the ever popular night walk.
